About Me

"Come come on the kick drum" Come come meet the writer!

Hey guys what's happening? My name's Elliott Rose, people call me Elliott, El or big El. I'm very laid back easy going guy. Every day I wake up I just want to be at maximum service to others. That is most important to me. To help others and create and build strong friendships, people from all over! Especially people who like to workout and have passions for staying fit and participating in any type of physical activity. Also am a HUGE sports fan, I bleed blue, GO NEW YORK GIANTS and YANKEES!

3 Sport athlete in HS: Football, basketball, lacrosse
I'm from a little suburban town outside of Princeton, New jersey called Pennington. Currently reside in a little river town next to PA in Central Jersey. I love it here, especially in the summer time, you'll find me exercising on the toe path along the river before supper time. Kayaking down river in the afternoon, and in the morning just going for a nice hike in the valley somewhere. I have just started to go fishing, I'd like to get into it more, living in a river town, you can't get away from fishers! Most of the time I'm at one of two of the jobs though. I live here with my mom who is a Yogini, and I am so happy of her Yoga lifestyle because I'm always learning new things from her to put on my blog. I've been to her garden a few times along the river so I just started picking my lettuce before dinner, which is amazing eating fresh lettuce from the garden if you have never tried it, you must!

I grew up in central Jersey with 1 older brother and very loving parents. From a young age I was involved in recreation sports and traveled all over the state with my friends playing sports. I grew up in a town house development in Pennington, some of my great memories their include after half days at school I would run off the bus to find the older guys playing Tennis Ball (baseball on the tennis court with a tennis racket!) Then on weekends I would go to the other street we would call it, really was Hickory st, where we would play 4 square when it was competitive and fun! Haha seems like a life time ago playing 4 square, anyways, the best yet to come was when the sun went down we would play MANHUNT, that was my game, I would climb trees and hi
de myself in bushes like I was running from the continental army and the King of England was after me! Or Mike Myers, whoever is really scary to you. Those were some of my memories from my childhood. High school I went on to be a varsity three sport athlete, playing lacrosse, 4 year letter winner, basketball, and Football, 3 year letter winner. We won counties my senior year in lacrosse for the first time ever, and I achieved most points in a season (goals combined with assists) at 216. My girlfriend wrote it on the game ball after the game and then I used it in the backyard and never saw it again.

What I'm doing right now; besides working on my fitness blog here and there. I am currently splitting time between two part time jobs at the local restaurant waiting tables and packing groceries at the grocery store in town. On top of that I'm taking online courses at the local community college where I am going for a degree in business management. So to sum things up, I work a lot, 6 days a week, workout a lot, at least 4 days a week. And study each day bits here and there, all at the same time doing things for my blog.

My blog is my passion. What I love about the whole thing most, before I even started my blog I would meet total strangers at work, at the gym, or where ever honestly, and we would stand there and fitness and exercising would come up somehow and we would just stand there and talk about the gym or fitness a while, it's almost like I meet someone who shares passion for fitness and health and I think we automatically become best friends. Now there asking for my number and we have become friends. This blog I'm hoping increases those encounters, my main goal is to be informative and spread my knowledge on fitness and create and build friendships along the way.

I spend countless sleepless nights on Pinterest and surfing the web on how I can get myself to look better by exercising and eating clean. I've learned a lot over the last few years about health and fitness and this blog is going to enlighten the readers from a laid back millennial guys point of view! Read up and don't hesitate to shoot me an email about whatever you'd like about my blog!
