Clear Up Your Skin- Reduce Inflammation, face blushing

Inflammation- An immune response that causes red and swelling  of an area on the body. (WebMD)

I just want to start out by saying that I have battled inflammation for a long time, especially inflammation like face blushing. It seems like my face is always bright red. This creates a stigma for me that I start questioning myself what is wrong with me this is not normal.

The fact is depending on your genes some are more likely to have face blushing, like myself, an Irish Pollock. But don't worry, there are lots of ways you can decrease inflammation and clear up your skin.
I have definitly seen an improvement in my skin and overall health of body just focusing on this one aspect of decreasing inflammation.

When I began to focus on an anti inflammatory diet it really helped me in many other ways. First and foremost my skin clearing up. But then things such as a clearer mind, healthier diet, weight loss, and increase productivity.

Ways to Reduce Inflammation (Face Blushing, red areas overall)

1. Clean up your Diet (STOP EATING BREAD/PASTA)
To decrease inflammation, best thing you can do for overall health is skip the bread and pasta. I suggest following the Paleo diet. Which concentrates on fresh green vegetables, fruit, and lean meat. All of these foods are accountable for the excellent health in our bodies. My mom is a Yogi-nee and her teacher who is all organic and natural emphasizes that clean diet and the Paleo is the way to go. But any diet that is natural will help. Stay away from Dairy!

2. Stop Overloading the Sugar

3. Be careful of Allergens
Man made food, or processed food has a bunch of un-needed chemicals in the food that can give our bodies an allergic reaction. Thousands of preservatives and other chemicals are digested everyday from normal people. If you eat only healthy fresh and natural food there is less chance of an allergic reaction therefore reducing inflammation by a boat load.

4.. Eat Healthy Fats/ Supplement Fish Oil
Have you ever heard of the saying; you need fat to burn fat? Well this is true. When you consume the healthy fats such as Mono-saturated and Polyunsaturated these fats act as an anti inflammatory, because it directly helps you burn more fat, this fat when consumed attaches to the bad stored fat in your gut and around your body and when it is burned through exercise all the fat that's used as energy melts away. Good fats such as these help protect against inflammatory because they detox and cleanse the body and get rid of all harmful toxins that increase inflammation.

5. Decrease Stress
We all know when we are in a high stress environment or going to public speak, our face gets all red and we start to sweat. Well the same thing happens when the body is thinking to much and not focusing on the better things in life. Take some time out of your day to reflect on what you do have. Go for a ten minute walk or call one of your relatives and talk, ask them how they are doing. Do anything that gets you out of your head. I choose to pray and meditate.

6. Workout for 20 minutes a day

Break a sweat and increase the toxins to be released out of your body. Physical activity is as good for you mentally as it is physically. While exercising you're thinking less about the stuff you need to get done or that's ahead of you and more on your workout, so make sure to workout hard and get a sweat on!
